100 days to get 100 points

We know it is harder to motivate yourself to go riding and work with your horse when the thermometer dips, but having a supportive and fun community behind you helps!
Accumulate points by spending time with your horse this winter and also doing challenges. Report your progress and meet friends. We will celebrate your accomplishments on the Group's Facebook page.
How do you get points!
½ point for a grooming visit only with no riding or working
1 point for every ride you do (or working your horse on line)
1 additional point for riding more than an hour
1 additional point if the temperature is less than 0 C
2 additional points if the temperature is less than -10 C
1 additional point for riding outside
2 additional point for rides 2km or more
1 point per week for posting a current photo of you and your horse in the snow (or at least outside, if there is no snow)
If you did something with your horse that you think deserves more points, let us know and we will consider it!
5 to 10 points for each challenge completed ( challenges will range from easy to challenging). There will be at least 10 challenges available to try.
Complete the challenges and earn virtual badges
Complete 75% of the challenges and win a key chain
Earn 100 points and win unique HITS 100 swag
and a HOOFPRINTS IN THE SNOW 100 certificate
Registration is $50 per horse/rider team and is available now.
Only activity after the start date should be reported.
Rides should be reported within 24 hours, rides reported 7 days or more after the ride, will not be counted.
Registrations will still be accepted after the start date,
but points are only awarded for activity after registration date.
You register as a team - one person and one horse.
You must be the person working with the horse and you must be working with your team horse
